Else, all fine. Directed by Walter Lang, the film starred Jeanne Crain, Dana Andrews, Dick Haymes, Vivian Blaine, and Charles Winninger.

Fine pencil signature from Reuter, the eccentric violinist who spent his career playing his violin for the crown heads of Europe and ultimately headed the Vienna State Academy of Music. Reuter wrote two books about the advice he received from the spirit of Paganini. (1928/ 1931). Signed on the verso by pianist and Bartok specialist, Hevesi Piroska.

Morea Caricature – Signed and Dedicated to Igor Kipnis

An amusing caricature drawing from the Estate of Igor Kipnis, important keyboard player who brought renewed interest worldwide to his instrument and who comissioned/premiered many important works for the instrument.  Son of Russian bass, Alexander Kipnis (and the reason why we mistakenly put this in the Opera section of the catalogue!), he performed extensively throughout the world and recorded virtually all the major harpischord works from the 16th century to the present.  Inscribed "a Igor Kipnis great clavecinate from Morea 2/6 24 horas TV. CANA/5."  Some creasing, warping and darkening of the paper, else fine.  Measures 18.75 inches x 11.75 inches (47.6 x 29.8 centimeters).

Lengthy inscription and bold signature from the elegant Viennese pianist on the verso of the LP cover to his 1960 Schubert Impromtus recording. Dated May, 1964, he inscribes "To George --, one of the rare 'Schubert birds, in common admiration for this genius. Paul Badura Skoda." Fine.

Signed Ernest Bachrach photograph, inscribed and signed to the popular Argentine Mundo Argentino magazine, "To King[?] of Mundo Argentino  / Sincere good smiles for the Holiday Season / Fred Astaire." Part of the signature and inscription have been traced over in white, so that the inscription contrast could be shown when reproduced in the magazine (a tiny portion of the publication is affixed to the verso). Scattered marks and creases, margins trimmed, else fine. 7.5 x 9.5 inches (19.5 x 24 cm).
