104. [Instrumentalists] [Piano].
Unusual Photograph of Mirrored Pianist!

Striking and unusual photograph of an unidentified pianist sitting at an open grand piano, the image manipulated to show her multiple times, as though in a mirror.  Raised stamp bottom left of photographer Gordon Conner of Cleveland, ca. 1940.  A note on the verso suggests that this pianist performed with American composer, orchestral director and violist Paul Whiteman, but her identity remains unknown to us.  This remains a most striking image, however.  Creasing to corners, stamps and file labels to verso, and light wear; overall fine.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).
