Signed San Francisco landscape Promotional Portrait

Signed photographic reproduction of an illustrated portrait of the legendary jazz singer, who is shown leaning against a telescope with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, a reference to Bennett's signature tune "I left my heart in San Francisco" written by George City and Douglass Cross, which became the official city song.  Bennett has inscribed "To Paul, / Best Wishes, / Tony Bennett / '73" in black felt tip.  The ABC Television Network press release mounted to verso reads, in part, "The man who has been called the 'singer's singer,' Tony Bennett stars in his first television special, Singer Presents Tony Bennett, on the ABC Television Network -- in color."  Slight ripple to lower margin, else in very fine condition.  7 x 9 inches (17.8 x 22.9 cm.). Signed lithograph by the legendary jazz trumpeter, being a limited signed edition promotional poster for his 1989 Warner Bros. album Amandla.  Miles signed 150 numbered copies of this poster to be used as promotional items, the present example numbered #92/150 and signed in silver ink, with Davis adding a single musical note to his name. Set of two matching pink toy pianos used in the 1956 film The Eddie Duchin Story, a fictionalized account of the life of the popular American pianist and bandleader known for his engaging performances, elegant musical style, and battle with leukemia. The vintage original prop "miniature" pianos are constructed of wood and paper paste-up facade components including interior and keyboard measuring 20 x 30.25 x 13 in. Expertly studio painted and finished. exhibiting some age and production wear, but in vintage very good condition. Would make a most striking statement in any music room!
