An unusual 1893 cabinet card, featuring a photograph of the famous print by Martin Tejcek (1780 - 1847), apparently executed by the artist after having seen Beethoven walking on the Viennese Glacis and the city walls. The year blindstamped in the image, issued by Munich music dealer, Josef Seling. A few small creases on the mount, overall fine.

Fine and boldly penned AMQS from the American composer and conductor, two measures ("Ma-ri-a") on a single musical staff, from his West Side Story (1957). On an off-white 5 x 3 card, signed at the bottom in black ink, “Leonard Bernstein, Dec. 1963.” Affixed to a same-size card and double-matted with gold fillet to an overall size of 12 x 10. In fine condition.
Excellent signed 8 x 10 inch Vandamm of NY photograph of the American composer/conductor/pianist. Signed in green ink, an attractive uninscribed example.
A rare signed 8 x 10 inch photograph of the great Swedish tenor, regarded by many as the greatest tenor in history. Vintage glossy bust portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in 1946. A few stains to the blank lower margin not affecting the image, slight silvering around the inscription, light creases to right corners and the image printed at a slight tilt on the page.
Uninscribed and unidentified AMQS dated 20 April, 1965 on Fontainebleau letterhead, signed "most sincerely + with best wishes / Nadia Boulanger" by the influential French composer, conductor and pedagogue. Fine. 21 x 14 cm. Together with a bust portrait photograph by Stephens Orr.

Interesting signed letter from English composer and pianist to Lady Crossfield declining an invitation to hear Yehudi Menuhin rehearse Bach as he is so busy and mentioning Arda who will be "in the Festival with us again this year," on "The Red House" stationary, dated 28th April 1959. 20.5 x 13 cm. The Greek soprano Arda Mandikian was a good friend of the composer and created the role of Miss Jessel in The Turn of the Screw.
