An orchestral score and full set of parts for Siegmund's aria "Winterstürme wichen dem Wonnemond" from Die Walküre (Wagner), owned and used in concerts by the great Austrian tenor Richard Tauber during his tour of Australia in the late 1930s. Each part is stamped "Eigentum RICHARD TAUBER." Pencil markings in graphite, red and blue throughout in various hands, edges chipped, generally very good condition.
Vintage original Alfredo Valente photograph boldly signed in blue fountain pen ink "Kindest Greetings - Helen Traubel" by the huge-voiced American soprano in her greatest role. Trimmed to 5.5 x 9.5 inches, otherwise in very fine condition.
Autograph letter signed (1 page, Wien 15 Nov, 1882) and autograph note penned on his printed visiting card from the important Bohemian tenor, a star for over 30 years at the Vienna Staatsoper and a specialist in the lighter tenor roles in Wagner operas. Among others, he sang the title role in Lohengrin, the role of Loge in both Das Rheingold and Die Walküre and he sang Walther von Stolzing in the Viennese premiere of "Die Meistersinger" (1870).
8 x 10 inch doubleweight Bruno of Hollywood portrait photograph, boldly signed and inscribed by the American dramatic soprano of Hungarian heritage and Swedish birth, one of the greatest of all Wagnerian heroic sopranos. Very fine.

Boldly penned autograph signature dated New York, 29 July, 1884 from the great Wagnerian tenor who created the first Parsifal in Bayreuth, was London's first Stolzing and Tristan, starred in Vienna with Mahler and in Theodore Thomas's Wagner festivals in New York. His many admirers formed themselves into the "Hermann League," and performances were often disturbed by vociferous outbursts of applause. 14 x 20 cm, a cutout engraved portrait affixed below the signature, the entire sheet mounted to a slightly larger page, small tear repaired with yellowed tape lower right cover not affecting signature and otherwise fine.
