An amusing original drawing of a seagull and autograph signature from the American author who was awarded the Pulitzer and Nobel prizes and whose many important works include The Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden, and Of Mice and Men. Penned on a torn portion of a pillow case for our consignor when she was a teenager in late 1960's in Sag Harbor, where her family was friendly with John and Elaine Steinbeck.
