Early 19th century, probably Italian, silkwork scene depicting a dancing man and woman, a figure playing a pipe and one playing a drum, one seated with a jug and cup at a table and another looking on from the right. The embroidered panel worked in green, blue, red, cream and brown silk, on a silk ground, with the figure embroidery surrounding collaged engravings. In an antique gilt frame, heavily worn, else fine. 17.9 x 14.7 inches; 45.5 x 37.5 cm.
