The portrait is by Carlo Pellegrini, known as "Ape," one of the most famous of the outstanding caricaturists who published in the magazine. Heavy toning around the edges from acidic matting, else fine. 10.5 x 15 inches; 26.7 x 38 cm. Matted to 11.25 x 17.25 inches; 29 x 44 cm.
