The program includes various advertisements, including most notably a full page program listing for an upcoming an all Richard Strauss performance to be conducted by the composer, and including the Vienna premiere of his Ein Heldenleben; a lengthy analysis of the works including numerous musical examples, and a full roster of the orchestra members, including Arnold Josef Rose (1863-1946), the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra who later married Mahler's sister Justine (Ernestine) Rose-Mahler (1868-1938) in 1902, one day after Mahler married Alma Mahler (1879-1964).
