[Kennedy, John F. (1917–1963)]. 1960 Boston Garden Floor - Reserved Ticket.

Original reserved ticket for the final campaign event of Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts, Presidential nominee, dated November 7, 1960. He spoke before a full house at Boston Garden on the eve of the Presidential election, the final speech of his 1960 campaign, discussing the importance of the election and the challenges facing the United States in the 1960s.

Blue cardstock, tiny crease upper right, else fine. Rare. Though General Admission tickets to the event seem to turn up with some regularity, we've only traced one other such reserved ticket example at auction.

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
