 Tight binding and hinges; bowing, creases, residue, discoloration, and wear to covers and backstrip; bumped spine and corners; page toning, creases, and wear. 

0.5" W x 7.25" H x 4.5" D.  Together with several letters of provenance.

Since first meeting David Hockney in the 1960s, the British textile designer Celia Birtwell has become a close friend of the artist and arguably his most famous muse. Over the past six decades, Celia sat for Hockney on more than eighty occasions, and her likeness features in approximately a quarter of his printed portraits.
