Original souvenir program from the US premiere of the historic musical, signed at the Majestic Theatre, Broadway, New York premiere, January 26, 1988 by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and role-creators Michael Crawford (title role that earned him a Tony Award and Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor), Sarah Brightman (Lloyd Webber's then-wife, as Christine), Steve Barton (Raoul), and Judy Kaye (who replaced West End creator Rosemary Ashe as Carlotta). Barton and Kaye have inscribed to an unidentified "Al." In pristine, very fine condition. 12 x 9 inches (30.5 x 23 cm). Rare. We have not traced another example having appeared on the market signed by both the composer and principal role creators.
