A boldly penned AMQS from the German composer/violist/conductor on a 1952 concert program from the 1952 Salzburg Festival, at which his Symphonia Serena was performed. The composer has written out a lengthy measure apparently from the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, also performed on this program, inscribing below "wenn...das so schön blast...! / Paul Hindemith / 24. Aug. 52." 8.25 x 11.5 inches. Toned, laid down completely to a rigid paper backing, otherwise very good.
