"The famous composer Igor Stravinsky, 88, was buried last Thursday, in the cemetery on the island of San Michele, in the Venice Lagoon. Stravinsky, who died in New York, was reported to have had a great affection for Venice. Photo Shows:- The rose-covered coffin of Igor Stravinsky is carried in a black gondola to the cemetery on the island of San Michele, in the Venice Lagoon." 9.5 x 7.25inches. Dated 04-04-1971.



"Igor Stravinsky's window, now aged 80, pictured with conductor Mr. Robert craft, as they entered the gondola to follow the gondola bearing strvink's body in the funeral procession, on the grand canal, Venice." 7.25 x 9.5inches. Dated 04-04-1971.



All in very good condition, one a little creased and rippled.
