Drawing in black chalk with white highlights on laid paper,  ca. 1700, depicting two classical nude men in combat, one held down by the other who is poised to bring down the raised club over his head.  20 x 14 inches (51 x 36 cm) (sight). Mounted with tape along left edge to mat (not laid down), 3" loss, l.l. corner, several creases, areas of restoration around face of top center figure, scattered foxing. Framed to 24 x 19 inches (61 x 48 cm).
