Scarce bold autograph of the excellent Hungarian violinist and conductor, creator of the "Vega" bow with a curved back, which he made especially for the performance of Bach's works for Solo violin. Though he performed and recorded widely with the bow, playing true chords at all dynamics and avoiding the usual arpeggiated effect, its use did not become widespread.
