Business check, 6 x 3.25 inches, drawn on the account of The King's Theatre, for £325.00, June 1, 1836, and endorsed by Tamburini on the verso as "A Tamburini." In fine condition with a small tear along the left side.
Tamburini "was a singularly handsome man; his voice was rich, sweet, extensive and equal – ranging from F toF#, two perfect octaves – and in every part of it entirely under control. His execution has never been exceeded...No one since himself has so thoroughly combined grandeur, accent, florid embellishment and solidity."
