An amazing original 1925 postcard photograph issued by the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, showing a gathering of their faculty, most assembled together with some of them portrayed in inset circles around the edge of the image. Undoubtedly one of the most amazing groups of musicians ever assembled, they are: I. Philipp, A. Cortot, R. Hahn, P. Casals, J. Thibaud, M. Emmanuel, Marcel Dupré, Ninon Vallin, W. Landowska, Hayot, Croiza, Max d'Olonne, Nadia Boulanger, Lazare Levy! The right border also notes that courses in the interpretation of their works for piano, voice, etc. are available from Vincent D'Indy, Paul Dukas, Maurice Ravel, and Albert Roussel. The card has been addressed and inscribed with a note on the verso by Justin Robert, seller of pianos. Postally cancelled in 1926, in fine condition. 14 x 9 cm.
