According to the news clipping on verso, "the mart is gay with Chinese merchandise, suitable for Christmas and all-the-year-round giving, including linens, cloisonne, tapestries, jade, and porcelain...all of the stars examined and admired the merchandise, and many of them stayed to buy, Miss Lawrence particularly adding many items to her Christmas list."
