A very fine early sepia postcard photograph of the celebrated American blues and jazz vocalist and actress, boldly signed "Sincerely Ethel Waters." According to a note on the verso, the signature was obtained at a May 1932 performance a the Cass Theater in Detroit. Image slightly speckled but in otherwise fine condition.
