Mahler was very disturbed by the shouted invectives of a person behind him in the audience...so Mahler turned around and said, 'you are not supposed to hiss when I applaud.'  To which he answered back quite brazenly, 'I hiss also at your unprintable symphonies!' Whereupon, Polnauer let it fly - he gave it to him - whereupon the attacked person brought out a knife and sliced Polnauer's face open, and he carried the scar with great pride to the end of his days.\" (Joan Allen Smith, \"Schoenberg and His Circle\")","brand":"Schubertiade Music and Arts","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46093208846495,"sku":"3961","price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0512\/4826\/7423\/files\/Webern_Sig_Music.jpg?v=1722186602","url":"https:\/\/www.schubertiademusic.com\/products\/3961-webern-anton-signed-music","provider":"Schubertiade Music and Arts","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
