The composer is shown in a conducting pose with one hand on a brass music stand and the other holding an impressive baton. The portrait is by Theobald Chartan, known as "T," one of the most famous of the outstanding caricaturists who published in the magazine. In excellent condition, 15 x 10.5 inches.
