A student of Bordogni and Catalani, she was the creator of the principal soprano roles in Rossini’s Le siege Corinthe, Moïse, Le comte Ory and Guillaume Tell, and in Auber’s La muette de Portici, and Meyerbeer’s Robert le diable (Isabelle).
