A superb signed photograph of the composer, one of the most famous images by the great photographer Richard Avedon. Originally taken in 1959, the present item is a later printing on thick card-stock, with a gold border around the margin and with "Avedon" printed at the bottom left corner. Stravinsky has boldly signed and inscribed the photograph in black ink, idiosyncratically spelling "Holliwood" and dating it "Febr / 62." 12 x 12 inches and in very fine condition.
