A scarce original program from the first concert of the 1929 Delius Festival held at Queen's Hall in London, organized and conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham. The program featured soloists Pauline Maunder, Heddle Nash, Dennis Noble, The London Select Choir and "a specially selected orchestra" in performances of "Brigg Fair," " A Late Lark," "Sea-Drift," "In a Summer Garden," and "A Village Romeo and Juliet." Small 8vo. 32 pp. Covers lightly stained, some browning inside, overall very good.
