Adjustable keyboard bench of walnut stained wood upholstered in dark red leather. From the Estate of Igor Kipnis, important keyboard player who brought renewed interest worldwide to his instrument and who comissioned/premiered many important works for the instrument. Son of Russian bass, Alexander Kipnis, he performed extenisively throughout the world and recorded virtually all the major harpischord works from the 16th century to the present. The height adjustment mechanism is faulty, else worn but fine as shown. Approx. 25 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 18 inches high.
