Highly amusing sepia signed photograph of the great American bon vivant, actor and pianist, shown in a wonderful candid action shot entertaining a crowd of servicemen and women, likely at a USO-style performance during World War II. A typed caption has been affixed to lower left surface and Levant has signed and inscribed to the lower right, "To Ralph ....Best Wishes / Oscar Levant." Areas of silvering and stains and losses to the signature, but still quite lovely and very unusual. 10 x 8 inches; 25.4 x 20.3 cm.
