The 1926 - 28 personal programs and clippings collection book of Jeno Antal, second violinist of the Roth Quartet. The annotations are all in his own hand, and there are also several original uncredited small photographs pasted in. A link to images of the full album is available here. (NB: some pages with complete programs not fully opened in the images). Album of 140 pp measures 7 x 9 inches (17.8 x 22.9 cm) and is roughly 1 1/4 inches thick. As with the photograph, this item has never appeared on the market and has remained with a direct descendant of Antal until now.

The Roth Quartet, founded in Budapest in 1922, made its debut in Paris in 1924 and toured the US in the late 1920s before permanently settling there, due to the rise of fascism in Europe. They premiered many important modern works, including quartets by Prokofiev and Korngold.
