Four small gold souvenirs of the Second World War, all on one bracelet: an airplane, a tank, an air force cap and a red-enameled "V" for Victory. The bracelet itself is 14k yellow gold, but each charm keeps its own karat (9k, 10k, 14k and 18k), which makes the whole thing a small sampler of gold standards.

The "V" had a soundtrack. In Morse code the letter is dot-dot-dot-dash, the same rhythm as the opening of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, which is why the BBC used those four notes in its wartime broadcasts to occupied Europe.
