[Jewelry] [Sports] . 14k Gold Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy Lapel Pin with Diamonds.
1/2 x 2 1/4 inch total; 1.27 x 5.715 cm. 3.89 grams. Stamped 14k. Oval enclosing Lombardi Trophy is 1/2" x 1 inches ; 1.27 x 2.54 cm.
The Vince Lombardi Trophy may be the most recognizable in American sports. Named in honor of the Packers legendary coach, the winner of the Super Bowl is given the trophy annually. This lapel pin features real diamonds and is constructed out of fourteen carat gold, and we presume that due to the high quality and content must have been given to top officials or dignitaries close to the league offices or teams. Was this given to someone at Super Bowl III due to the three diamonds? We are not sure, but it's possible. There is a Jostens maker's mark next to the gold content designation on the inner half of this treasure. Very cool and extremely scarce memento representing the most coveted trophy in all of sports.
