Beautiful three-quarter length original Henri Manuel of Paris photograph of the great composer. Photographer's stamp to the verso, together with later stamps from the Hachette photo service. NB: the arc in the lower right quarter is from a crack in the original glass negative, not a condition fault. Ink notation to the upper margin, a few small stains and creases, otherwise in fine condition.  7 x 9.5 inches; 18 x 24 cm.
