Enormous and striking photograph of the great conductor and composer ca. early 1960s, shown conducting in a rehearsal, signed and inscribed later in bold black ink "For Mrs. Brown / Best wishes / Leonard Bernstein." Photographer unidentified. In very good condition apart from tape remnants to corners and a small area of surface loss to the lower right corner, well away from the signature (all faults easily matted out). Measuring an impressive 17 x 14 inches, this is one of the largest signed photographs of the great musician we've ever encountered.
