[Tiffany] Schuler, George. [Jewelry]. 14k Fan Brooch with Diamond and 7 Rubies.
This vintage Tiffany & Co. swirl brooch is crafted in solid 14K yellow gold with gold and rubies in an undulate fan shape with high textured surfaces. The brooch is fitted with a hinged double pins with a mechanical lock.

Designed by George Schuler who worked with Tiffany & Co. from the 1940s through the 1960s, creating bold, sculptural gold jewelry that Tiffany sold under its own name. He was known for strong, three-dimensional designs like swirls, fans, shells, and ribbon-style forms of which this is a prime example, the gold fluted gold surface catching the light beautifully and showing the quality of the goldwork.

George Schuler was also trusted by other major jewelry houses of the time, including Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, which speaks to the level of craftsmanship in his work.
