A fine portrait of the pianist and composer, inscribed to the lower mount with an unidentified AMQS, signed "Ant. Rubinstein" and dated "Marseille 19 Mars 1884."  Albumen cabinet photograph of a bust portrait painting by E. Felix, issued by Freidr. Bruckmann's Verlag, Munich. Scattered foxing, else fine. In a rudimentary mat and attractive period wood frame. Unexamined out of framed, but in apparently fine condition. Portrait measures 6.5 x 4 inches (16 x 10.5 cm) overall framed to 9.5 x 7.5 inches (24 x 19 cm).
