Printed recital program signed boldly in ink by the composer and by the celebrated English tenor to the front cover.  Volksbildungsheim, Grosser Saal, Frankfurt. Monday, 13 November, 1956.  4 pp + 8pp. The program included works by Morley, Dowland, Purcell and Schubert and an entire second half devoted to compositions by Britten, including Folk Songs and the Seven Sonnets of Michelangelo. General overall toning, especially to the bilingual text sheets, else in fine condition. 6 x 8.25 inches; 15 x 21 cm. 

The unique creative partnership between these two artists may be claimed to have been without parallel elsewhere in musical history.
