Original printed visiting card from the great Italian painter and printmaker who specialized in still lifes and whose works are noted for their tonal subtlety in depicting simple subjects, mainly vases, bottles, bowls, flowers, and landscapes. The card inscribed in his hand in brown ink [in Italian], "thanks warmly - Bologna 3 May 1961." One crease at the corner and slightly smudged; overall in very good condition. 4 x 2.5 inches (10 x 6 cm). Uncommon.
