Lutoslawski, Witold. (1913–1994) & Ozawa, Seiji. (b. 1935). Lutos?awski's Concerto for Orchestra - Signed Program Notes.

Signed photocopy of the program notes verso of the LP sleeve of EMI ASD 2652, with recordings of Janáček's Sinfonietta and Lutosławski's Concerto for Orchestra performed by the Chicago Symphony under Ozawa.  Inscribed by Lutosławski in red marker, " For Mr. John Charles W. Lutosławski," and signed by Ozawa in black marker.   8 x 8.25 inches ( 20.2 x 20.8 cm).  In very good condition.

The Japanese conductor was never nominally music director of the Chicago Symphony but held that title at the orchestra's summer festival at Ravinia from 1964 to 1968.  He made numerous recordings with the orchestra, championing contemporary music.  The Polish composer wrote his Concerto for Orchestra in the early 1950s.  The LP sleeve has a copyright date of 1971 and is marked "Made and Printed in Britain."
