Inscriptions in Russian by both musicians to p. 1., "In memory of the concert in Liverpool to Mr. John Charles, with thanks, from David Oistrakh," and "With best wishes, Frida Bauer / Liverpool, September 20, 1962." 8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.6 x 14 cm). In very good condition.
2. Joint orchestral concert of the Midland Sinfonia Orchestra (Nottingham) and the Northern Sinfonia Orchestra (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) with the violinist Igor Oistrakh as featured soloist at Albert Hall, Nottingham, on November 18, 1967. Signed by Oistrakh (in Cyrillic) and Austrian-born conductor Robert Schwarz. Oistrakh performed two concertos: J.S. Bach's in A minor (BWV 1041), accompanied by the Midland Sinfonia only an Neville Dilkes conducting from the harpsichord, and Mozart's No. 3 in G major (K. 216), with both orchestras accompanying and Schwarz conducting from the rostrum. 8.75 x 5.5 inches (22.3 x 14.2 cm). In very good condition.
