Five signed leaves (numbered 47, 48, 49, 51, and 52), apparently cut from a guestbook / registration book from a musical venue in Birmingham, England, with entries dated 1858–60 (insofar as they are dated at all). All five leaves blank to verso. Trimmed to a few different sizes, largest 11 x 7 inches (28 x 18.3 cm). In very good condition overall.
The signers are obviously musicians who performed at the venue. Most of them are singers, but there are some instrumental musicians and composers in between. Most entries, in English, French, and Italian, are short and limited to signature, date and place, but there are exceptions (see below). List of persons signed (and deciphered) in order of entry:
