Leigh, Vivien. (1913–1967). "Deep Blue Sea" - Signed Photograph. Signed promotional photograph of the British actress for the 1955 British drama film directed by Anatole Litvak, also starring Kenneth More, and produced by London Films and released by Twentieth Century Fox.  Inscribed to Paul McMahon.  9.5 x 7.5 inches (24 x 18.9 cm).  In fine condition.

Leigh is best remembered as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind (1939), for which she won her first Academy Award; she won another one for the film version of A Streetcar Named Desire (1952).

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
