Signed portrait of the French master mime performing.  Inscribed to Paul McMahon and dated 1982, with Marceau adding a small drawing of a flower.  Labels announcing performances in Boston "March 29 through April 4" (no year) and giving the address of Marceau's local agent, Ronald A. Wilford Associates, mounted to verso.  10 x 8 inches (25.8 x 20.3 cm).  Lower right corner slightly bumped; else in fine condition. 

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
