Antón, Rubén. (?–?) & Baille, Marthe. (?–?). Signed Program. Signed program of a duo recital of Rubén Antón, violin, and Marthe Baille, piano, at the Salle Molière in Lyon, March 22, 1966, "under the chairmanship of the Consul General of Spain." Bifolium. Signed by both musicians to the inside. 8.25 x 5.25 inches (21 x 13.5 cm). Unevenly browned; small stain to blank last page; else in very good condition.
A rather mysterious item. The location can be safely established; "Salle Molière" is in Lyon, and Marthe Baille is confirmed as a piano teacher at the Lyon Conservatory at the time, even though little else is known about her. A violinist named Rubén Antón (full name possibly Rubén Antón Andreu) later played in the early music ensemble "Los Músicos de Su Alteza," founded in Zaragoza in 1992.
