Inbal, Eliahu.  Guest concert of the Israel Chamber Orchestra Ramat-Gan, conducted by the Israeli conductor, Lyon, November 26, 1964.  Signatures of Eliahu Inbal and six others (probably musicians of the orchestra).  8.25 x 5.25 inches (21 x 13.5 cm).  Inbal has held positions in many countries, both as a Kapellmeister and as an orchestral conductor; his most recent appointment was in Taipei.

Jochum, Georg Ludwig.  Association Artistique de Marseille, subscription concert conducted by the German conductor, Marseille, April 15, 1953.  12 pp.  Signature of Georg Ludwig Jochum to folio 1 recto and folio 2 recto, each with autograph date (April 15, 1953). 9.75 x 7 inches (25 x 18.3 cm).  First leaf torn; lower right corner bumped.  Georg Ludwig Jochum was the younger brother of the better-known Eugen Jochum.

Kord, Kazimierz.  Guest concert of the Large Symphony Orchestra of Polish TV and Radio (billed as "Le Grand orchestre symphonique de la Radio-Télévision polonaise" and as the orchestra's first appearance in Lyon) conducted by the Polish conductor, Lyon, April 27, 1971.  8 pp.  Signatures of Kord and baritone soloist Andrzej Hiolski to first page.  8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.5 x 13.5 cm).  First page somewhat worn.  Kord frequently appeared in the West in the Cold War years already.  He was the first person to conduct an opera in Russian at the Met (The Queen of Spades, 1972).

Leitner, Ferdinand.  Orchestre philharmonique de Lyon, subscription concert conducted by the German conductor, Lyon, February 10, 1957.  One leaf cut from program, paginated 43-44.  Signature, "Herzlichst [=most cordially] / Ferdinand Leitner" to foot of p. 44.  9.5 x 6 inches (23.8 x 15.3 cm).  Creased and slightly frayed to upper edge.  Leitner was mostly active in Central Europe, although he occasionally conducted at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires after 1956.

Sanderling, Kurt.  Berliner Symphonie-Orchester (billed as "Orchestre Symphonique de Berlin"), the leading orchestra from East Berlin, conducted by Kurt Sanderling, Lyon, November 9, 1969.  8 pp. Signature of Kurt Sanderling to first page; signature of piano soloist Renate Schorler (1935–2000) to p. 5.  8.5 x 5.25 inches (21.5 x 13.5 cm).  Sanderling left his native Germany in 1936 because he was Jewish.  He spent his exile in the Soviet Union, from 1942 as Yevgeny Mravinsky's co-conductor of the Leningrad Philharmonic.  He returned to (East) Germany in 1960 and had the honor to conduct the festive concert on the day of the German reunion, October 3, 1990.

Sébastian, Georges.  Association Philharmonique, "Festival Wagner-Strauss" (orchestral concert conducted by the Hungarian-French conductor), Lyon, January 31, 1954.  Bifolium, removed for program, paginated 11–14.  Signature of Georges Sébastian to p. 12.  9.5 x 6 inches (24.3 x 15.6 cm).  Frayed to gutter.  Sébastian, born György Sébestyen, emigrated to France in 1946.

Swarowsky, Hans.  Program of the Société romance de spectacles, Geneva, for Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (billed as Les noces de Figaro) conducted by the Austrian conductor, also a famous teacher, April 21 and 32, 1961.  32 pp.  Signatures of Swarowsky and singer-director Alfred Jerger (1889–1976) to p. 19; signatures of further singers: Edith Oravez (1920–2013) to p. 21 and Annemarie Ludwig (?–?) to p. 23.  8.75 x 6 inches (22 x 15.3 cm).
