After touring the newly-founded Soviet Union for two years, they went on a tour abroad and decided not to return. Later they formed a trio with Grigory Piatigorsky.  Like the other two, Milstein eventually settled in New York and became a U.S. citizen.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003ePludermacher, a graduate from the Paris Conservatory, was Milstein's regular accompanist at the time.
