A very rare program from the Princess Concert Room in London, June 7, 1844. The program for Macfarren's and Davison's Third Concert of Chamber Music, including performances of Mendelssohn's Op. 49 Piano Trio played by Joachim (aged 13!!), Hausmann and Mendelssohn himself. The program also featured a performance of Mendelssohn's Op. 44 String Quartet (also with Joachim) and his "Freuhlingslied," played from the manuscript. Joachim also performed the Adagio and Fugue from Bach's Solo Sonata in G minor. Folds, a little worn, top edge and joint repaired, contemporary MS notations. Very rare.
