Thank you! I thank you cordially; it is difficult to imagine how dear all that this book is about. I kiss you, Lyalya."  With original autograph envelope, again stationery of the hotel, addressed to Mr. Jean Fonda in Geneva.  8.25 x 5.75 inches (21 x 15 cm).  Some loss to envelope; else in fine condition.

Lala (or Lyalya) Gilels, an ethnic Ossetian born Farisa Khutsistova, was a student at the Moscow Conservatory, where she met Gilels. She went on to compose 8 piano concertos and 33 symphonies.
