From Josef Hauer, Vienna; autograph address, hand stamped sender's address to verso; postmarked July 7, 1924.  4.25 x 7 inches (11 x 17.5 cm).  Frayed at opening.

An interesting, possibly unique collection of documents from Schoenberg, his three most significant students, and his somewhat sectarian rival (Hauer),  who all had their music performed at the Donaueschingen festival, the leading festival for new music in Germany at the time.

Strangely, Eisler's hand stamp gives his first name as "Hans", with one n only.
