Signed photograph of the Basque conductor, harpsichordist and pianist best remembered for his many MGM films from the 1940's starting with "As Thousands Cheers" which undercut his reputation as a serious musician. He was a pupil of Wanda Landowska and often concertized with his pianist sister Amparo. Signed and inscribed and dated 1936. 3.75 x 6.5 in (10 x 16.25 cm). Silvering, else fine.
