The photograph prominently lists George Treadwell as "Personal Management" in the lower margin. Treadwell was an American jazz trumpeter and manager of the Drifters and he and Vaughan were married in 1947. He quit playing late in the 40s to work as Vaughan's manager, and continued in this capacity even after their divorce in 1957.
