Signed doubleweight Mishkin of New York portrait photograph of the Italian operatic baritone, who has inscribed "To Miss Mary Shoener Mette / Sincerely / G. Danise / N.Y. 1928" in striking gold ink.  Light creasing to lower corners, overall in fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).  Together with front of original transmissal envelope, filled out in Danise's hand, with the return address listed entirely as "Giuseppe Danise / Metropolitan Opera House."
